About

For more than 20 years, I have been an Atlanta-based health writer specializing in clinical news, person-centered features, and consumer health education. I bring deep experience translating complex topics—including emerging research and health policy—into clear, compelling content for both consumer and professional audiences.

In addition to reporting, I partner with health-focused nonprofits to shape content strategies that advance their missions and strengthen audience engagement through thoughtful storytelling that informs, connects, and inspires.

I began my writing career with traditional journalism training, including an internship at the New York Times. I graduated with honors from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in public health.

I am available for special features and reporting projects, ongoing assignments, and nonprofit content strategy and creation focused on brand storytelling and building scalable processes for content development.
